Pictures from the kitchen.

The other evening my daughter was making herself a mocha shake. After she'd poured in some chocolate syrup, she noticed this little heart in the foam.

Today I made my first batch of jelly. EVER. This is jalapeƱo jelly. Although it was a nice green on its own, I confess, I did add a few drops of green food coloring. You are supposed to put this over cream cheese on crackers. We'll see how it tastes later.

That is some seriously green jelly! How much food colouring did you say? ;)

Your camera is almost exactly the same as mine - the Rebel and the EOS 400D have the same manual.

Love love love my new toy.

Except for the fact that I can't eat 'hot' food - meaning jalepenos, I love the color and admire you for your mad "homemaking" skills!

I just think it's neat your daughter even noticed!

Aw, cute little heart! My cat has a white foot with a black heart shaped patch of fur on it :)
Let me know how the jelly tastes, I've always wondered about it.

I love jalapeno jelly. I've never made it myself, but I could this year - I have TONS of peppers out there waiting to be picked.

Hahaha..that's a cute heart.

And the jelly looks a little bit like Palmolive. But I'm sure it will be delicious!
